You Play Too Much: Drake & 21 Savage Announce Collaborative Project, ‘Her Loss,’ In Pseudo “Jimmy Cooks” Visual

Four months after the release of the mostly rhythmic and dance album, Honestly, Nevermind, Drake and 21 Savage finally dropped the music visual to the only pure rap song on the album, “Jimmy Cooks.” But, not everything is as it seems.

The top trending video in music on YouTube kicks off with Drake and 21 Savage donning all-black while standing in front of a giant multi-cam screen in a darkened warehouse. Drake jumps right in, rapping the famous lyrics with a shade-wearing 21 Savage playing the background.

Apparently, the two iconic rappers were in a playful mood. At the 1:14 mark, right when the beat transitions, Drake and 21 Savage engage in a conversation that we’re not privy to, as a message proliferates across the video saying, “Her Loss, Album By Drake And 21 Savage.” The message also includes the release date of Oct. 28, 2022.

Watch The Announcement:

What a way to announce a new project! The visual is directed by Mahfuz Sultan, while Benoît Debie is director of photography and Jerome Pesnel is editor.

Honestly, Nevermind is available across music streaming platforms now.
