On the press tour to promote the MCU box office hit, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Lupita Nyong’o and Tenoch Huerta gave fans a special inside look at their friendly camaraderie during an improvised dance session.
A blue-suited and booted Huerta responded to a proposition to dance with Nyong’o, who was hugged in a tight-fitting black dress. Someone cued the infamous Elvis Crespo bop, “Suavemente” and the two cinema stars broke out into a remixed version of Merengue Latin dance.
Full of spirit and energy, the two co-stars dropped it to the ground as the vibe transformed into African dance. It was a perfect pairing and showed just how bright the world can be when Marvel rivals turn allies.
Nyong’o and Huerta just celebrated the premiere and worldwide release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, alongside fierce co-stars, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Dominique Thorne, and Martin Freeman.
At the time of this writing, the Ryan Coogler film made $355.4M worldwide, with $205.1M of that coming from the States.
Just recently, the sequel pulled in $12.6M on a Tuesday (Nov. 15), increasing its box office grosses from the previous day by 13.6%. That could be attributed to the affordable Tuesday deals that movie theaters offer, which has been a great help during economic uncertainty.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is in movie theaters now.
