Cardi B sat down with Vogue to answer 73 “rapid-fire questions”. The interview took place at her abuela’s or grandmother’s house in New York City.
Joe Sabia interviewed the mother of one as she was putting her daughter Kulture to sleep. Looking beautiful as ever, Cardi B was very mature in answering questions about motherhood, haters, politics and relationships.
The reality TV star turned mainstream rapper had some interesting answers. The conversation started with questions about motherhood in which she admitted that it could be challenging. The interview became juicy when she started answering questions about being in the spotlight.
“I hate when people ask me questions about my butt,” she said. “People are so obsessed with knowing about the enhance process, its like lord.”
When asked what she wished people would ask her more, she said she loves popular trendy topics.
Some other interesting things about Cardi B? Her favorite thing about Atlanta is soul food. Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna make her nervous. Cardi B has a new album coming out soon that she says is controversial or what she calls “spicy”.
When Sabia asked her who is the real Cardi B outside of the spotlight, she responded, “I feel like I have a really chill side. I’m very balanced. I could be a little crazy, but if I don’t know you I’m going to study you. I’m a big libra so… and I’m always to myself, I don’t really hang out too much. I just be home all day. I’m boring. I’m kind of boring.”
Cardi B still isn’t used to fame and people criticizing her. She seems disenchanted with beef and having smoke with women. The “Money” rapper said that a lot of people aren’t living their truth.
In the middle of the interview, Sabia asked her to call her husband and Migos rapper Offset. Offset was in Los Angeles working at the time of the call. Sabia asked Offset what was Cardi B’s best and worst habit.
“The worst habit she got is being on her phone for 35,000 hours every single day. She on the phone looking at comments. Her best habit is raising Kulture the way she do…She like to dress Kulture and do her hair everyday.”
Cardi B’s relationship advice is that “if you love somebody, no matter what, try to work it out.”

Cardi B had some things to say about politics and feminism, too. Living in the Bronx made Cardi B more interested in politics and how it affects communities. Her political pick is Bernie Sanders, who she interviewed about three months ago.
“What I like about Bernie Sanders is that he’s been doing this for a long time,” Cardi B told Sabia. “He’s a natural humanitarian.”
The rapper’s final words of wisdom for young women following her was that anything happening right now is not going to matter in a couple of years, and that applies to relationships and bullies.
