Travis Scott is making franchise moves like a mid-2000’s Jay-Z as he plays the board like a game of Monopoly. The Grammy nominated recording artist is embarking on a new business venture as the founder of a new consumer product, CACTI. Scott partnered with Anheuser-Busch to create a Tequila inspired seltzer called CACTI Agave Spiked Seltzer that comes in three flavors, lime, pineapple and strawberry.
“CACTI is something I’m really proud of and have put a ton of work into,” Scott said. “Me and the team really went in, not only on getting the flavor right, but on thousands of creative protos on everything from the actual beverage, to the can concept, to the packaging and how it is presented to the world. We always try to convey a feeling in our products.”
Scott featured the new product in his music video for the single “FRANCHISE,” starring Young Thug and M.I.A. In the video, Scott can be seen preparing a truckload shipment of CACTI as he parallels the wealthy lifestyle of former Chicago Bulls basketball player Michael Jordan.

The beverage with 7% ABV and 100% blue agave from Mexico was brewed in Los Angeles. The drink will only be available to consumers who are 21 years of age or older.
Fabricio Zonzini, the president of Beyond Beer at Anheuser-Busch, welcomed Scott as a partner.
“We are all about delivering what consumers want, and as a culture-shaping artist, Scott is incredibly connected to his fans and what’s new and next in culture,” Zonzini said. “As we continue in our mission to lead industry innovation and optimize our portfolio for the future, I’m excited that we can play a role in bringing to life Scott’s vision to deliver something new to the hard seltzer space.”
The “Highest In The Room” rapper has been making strategic business moves to sell to his targeted demographic, including a recent partnership with McDonald’s. With five studio albums under his belt, Scott has accumulated many awards and nominations throughout his career, including the Billboard Music Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, Teen Choice Awards, BET Awards and the Latin Grammy Awards. He’s also headlined four tours in the last five years. Scott’s influence has been more than apparent in hip hop culture.
CACTI is scheduled to be on the market for purchase in Spring 2021.
