In the land of hip hop, it’s often too acceptable for people to act like pimps and playas, even if that’s not their character. Sometimes, the attitude about dating and relationships is out of necessity because there are so many snakes in the sea that it’s hard to tell who is genuine. Other times, it’s a disingenuous act to look “cool.”
But, then you have those who aren’t afraid to be themselves. To them, it’s not about a look or like, it’s about moving by the beat of your own drum. Alabama music artist Yung Bleu and Canada’s own Drake are two hip hop artists that don’t care about fulfilling the stereotypes of what a rapper is supposed to be — although they have their moments, too.
The two linked up to create the lyrically honest single “You’re Mines Still,” accommodated with the official visual. In the visual, Yung Bleu and Drake fawn over a love lost to another man.

With already 20-plus million listens on Spotify, it’s apparent that people are relating to this song. Now, with the video released, Yung Bleu provides a visual of the lyrics and it hits in the realest way.
When you royally f—ed up something good and that person has moved on, is it only a dream to just do what your heart tells you and go make the situation right? Who wouldn’t want that, especially if you come to your senses and discovered that the dating scene ain’t sh–?
Well, it might only be a fantasy, but Yung Bleu gets to live out this fantasy by crashing the wedding of his lost love. Don’t we all wish we could disrupt love this way….hahaha!
