U.S. gymnast Simone Biles has broken the record for the most national titles obtained by a woman. The 24-year-old Houstonian won her seventh title on Sunday night. Biles scored 119.650 points with a four-part routine on vault, uneven bars, floor exercise, and the balance beam that appeared to be effortlessly executed.
Of course, her latest achievement comes at no surprise to her fans who have watched Biles succeed at the all-around competitions for the last eight years. Her next feat is the Olympic trials taking place mid-summer in St. Louis. The four-day event that kicks off on June 24 will be the catalyst that places the top two performers in the Tokyo Olympics team.
