Save My Vote 2020 Campaign Works To End Voter “Purging” And Suppression

Greg Palast has been actively working to mitigate voter suppression for the upcoming 2020 presidential elections. The investigative journalist started the campaign “Save My Vote 2020” to help voters who have been “purged” from the voter registration system find out their status and re-register to vote.

“Nobody’s ever held accountable,” LaTosha Brown, co-founder of Black Voters Matter, said in an interview with Palast. “We’re seeing the same old problems that our community has seen in the past, which we know are all forms of voter suppression.”

Brown continues, “They’re constantly skimming votes in different ways. We’ve got to hold people accountable… And there’s some people that have got to, not only be held accountable in the sense of being put out of office, but there are some people that should face some charges.”

Supported by the Palast Investigative Fund and New York Times best-selling author Thom Hartmann, the “Save My Vote 2020” project serves to educate voters through investigative reporting.
