Regina King, LaKeith Stanfield, Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, Delroy Lindo, Damon Wayans Jr., and Deon Cole. These are just some of the greats that are starring in the Jeymes Samuel directed western THE HARDER THEY FALL, produced by Shawn Carter (yeah, that Carter) and James Lassiter.
The pic follows Trudy Smith (King) and Cherokee Bill (Stanfield) as they set a “straightenin'” on their ops to defend their ruthless leader Rufus Buck (Elba). Majors plays outlaw Nat Love as he seeks revenge on Rufus, accompanied by tough-as-nail comrades Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler).
An official teaser released by Netflix shows King being followed by a group of horse riding, gun-toting men accompanied by a Fela Kuti music track — off the rip it sends chills up the spine for those hungry for spicy entertainment.
THE HARDER THEY FALL has yet to receive a release date but will be available in select theaters and Netflix.
