Sony and Marvel Studios teases fans with the new official teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home. With the trailer garnering over 6.1 million views in two hours on YouTube, tentpole movie starved comic fans are surely going to go out of their way to support the 27th Marvel Cinematic Universe pic.
Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, finds himself being taunted and trolled by the world despite saving it from super villains. As fans will recall from Marvel Comics, Mysterio, also known as Quentin Beck, revealed Spider-Man’s identity and framed him before dying as a result of his own misjudgment.
The revelation was leaked to “The Daily Bugle” show host J. Jonah Jameson who does his part in making Peter Parker public enemy #1. In an ultimate move to change his existence as the most hated, Peter enlists Doctor Strange to cast a spell on everyone that will make them forget everything about Spider-Man. Peter soon learns that his wish to be forgotten is a curse in disguise.
Doctor Strange, Green Goblin, the Sinister Six, and Doctor Octopus are featured in the three-minute snippet. The cast stars Zendaya as MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Marisa Tomei as May Parker, and Jamie Foxx as Electro.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the follow up to the 2019 film Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: Homecoming released in 2017. Jon Watts returns as director of the third installment of the revamped Tom Holland-led trilogy.
