Never Content dropped new installments of the indie comedy #ForEvansSake just in time for quarantine season. The hilariously funny series follows the unforgiving life of up-and-coming production assistant Evan Jefferson, played by Evan Vincent Washington.
Created by Washington and Ryan James Hull, part one of the multi-segment episode “N*ggas Don’t Get Depressed” begins with Evan receiving his punishment for reacting to a racially charged incident at his job.
The digital series starring Wendy Raquel Robinson (Dear White People), Gerald “Slink” Johnson (Black Jesus) and Hattie Smith (The Axiom), among many others, is written by Hull, Washington, Kiana Garner and Kirstin Lorin, who also directs the episodes.

The second and third installment of the series shows Evan struggling with the concept and nuisances of therapy as he has his first session and the aftermath of dealing with his roommates, co-workers and the rabbit hole of his own mind.
Insecure’s Paul Stewart joined the Smart Not Hard Production as executive producer of the series, while Kevyn Delgado serves as director of photography.
