Murder Suspect In XXXTentacion Case Granted Bond Hearing

Trayvon Newsome, one of the men accused of being involved in the murder of Florida rapper XXXTentacion, has been granted a bond hearing. The hearing will take place on Thursday, Oct. 31.

The suspect filed a petition requesting his release back in September based on a claim that he was entitled to a bond.

This week, Judge Michael Usan granted him an “Arthur Hearing”, a specialized court process in which the defense attorneys can petition for a bond on their client’s behalf.

Newsome turned himself in to authorities in August of 2018. He was charged with first degree murder and robbery.

The other three suspects, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams and Robert Allen, have not been granted a bond hearing.
