Ms. Minnie From ‘Little Women: Atlanta’ Died In Head-On Car Accident After Losing Control Of Vehicle, Police Confirm

On Tuesday, reports circulated that Little Women: Atlanta’s Ms. Minnie, 34, passed away after being involved in a horrific hit-and-run accident on Sunday night. Her death was first confirmed by her publicist through an announcement on social media.

The publicist stated, “It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka “Ms Minnie” of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34. The family respectfully asks for privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

Today, new information released by the police is saying that Ms. Minnie, born Ashley Ross, lost control of her vehicle and ran into oncoming traffic.

“Ross’ Nissan Sentra hit a curb along Old National Highway near the intersection of Lantern Lane,” said a report from South Fulton police officer Lt. Derrick Rogers. “She lost control, crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a Ford Focus head on.”

Ross was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries from the crash where she later died on Monday. The driver of the Ford Focus appeared to have minor injuries.

Ross was a well-known personality in Atlanta and appeared on the popular reality show Little Women: Atlanta. We first saw her working in a hair salon and soon, she would evolve into a music talent manager, even managing other little people in Atlanta.

Lifetime had just announced the sixth season of Little Women: Atlanta, a show that follows the lives of a group of little women pursuing entertainment careers.

A representative of the show released the following statement, “She was the most beautiful, kind, giving, generous human ever. She was adored by cast and crew because she always wore her heart on her sleeve.”

The investigation of the crash is ongoing. RIP Ms. Minnie
