Offset, Quavo and Takeoff give quarantine music videos a run for the money with new music video “Taco Tuesday”.
The Atlanta rap group known as the Migos is seen seasoning ground beef, baking taco shells, and whipping up rice and beans as they rap in Spanish and English. For the final touch, they couldn’t forget the Kool-Aid.
The official music video was released on their YouTube channel Migos ATL on Monday, May 12. Now trending at #5 on the video streaming platform, “Taco Tuesday” has accumulated 2.1 million views with 187,000 likes. A great feat considering the state of the union and all its woes.
The song samples L.A. Lakers player LeBron James’ voice from a video in which he declares “What is it? Taco Tuesday!” “Taco Tuesday” is a single off of the forthcoming album Quarantine Mixtape, announced by Quavo.
The Migos’ highly anticipated studio album Culture III has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the meantime, the group will be releasing the mixtape to hold fans over.
