B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed.
C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband.”

Rae, 36, is normally tight-lipped about her private life, so when she posted the announcement along with a set of photos capturing her beautiful day, social media went wild with praise. Congratulations to Rae, who has managed to prove that you can have it all — all while being yourself.
Apparently, love is in the air for other celebrities and public figures, as well, with a wave of them taking their relationships to the next level. Here’s a brief rundown of some memorable union announcements in recent news:
Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton
The love bug also bit No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani and country music artist Blake Shelton. Stefani, 51, and Shelton, 45, solidified their long-standing relationship on July 3 with Carson Daly officiating the Oklahoma ceremony at a chapel on Shelton’s estate. Engaged in 2020, the couple had been together for six years before jumping the broom.

Derek Fisher & Gloria Govan
Former Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan had dreams of marriage and she was very transparent about the idea while on the reality show. However, when things didn’t work out with NBA player Matt Barnes, fans wondered would she ever get the ring she so deserved. It wouldn’t be long before she would meet her prince charming, Derek Fisher, 46, and now she can call the Los Angeles Sparks head coach her husband. After a three-year engagement, Govan, 36, and Fisher married at the magnificent Cielo Farms in Malibu, CA on July 17 with Eric Govan, Govan’s brother, officiating.
“For Derek and me, our wedding has been about unity and a blending of families,” says Govan. “After the pandemic, we realized how important family really is — we could have easily eloped or filled out the paperwork and gotten it over with. But sharing this moment and event with those closest to us took priority over taking the easy route. We kept our guest list limited to those closest to us.”
The couple plan to have their honeymoon in Thailand, hunty!

Kwame Kilpatrick & Laticia McGee
Former Detroit Mayor turned preacher, Kwame Kilpatrick, married his childhood friend LaTicia McGee on July 24 at the Historic Little Rock Baptist Church in Detroit with the ceremony being officiated by Bishop J. Drew Sheard. Love found Kilpatrick, 51, while serving a 28-year prison sentence when McGee, 40, visited him in prison. Kilpatrick would only serve seven years of the sentence before being released at the top of the year when Donald Trump commuted his sentence to time served.
“LaTicia, I met her when she was 12 years old,” Kilpatrick said. “This is the thing you all should know. When I came and taught, I’m coming out of college, I get the first job I ever had and they gave me a class. And there is a little girl with a bunch of east side kids at Marcus Garvey Academy on the east side of Detroit.”
Don Cheadle & Bridgid Coulter
Even Don Cheadle exchanged vows! The Black Monday actor married, Bridgid Coulter, 52, his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, after 28 years of dating! The actual secret union took place during the pandemic in 2020, but the veteran actor didn’t reveal the development until recently. Cheadle, 56, revealed the news in late June while speaking to comedian Wanda Sykes, who was a guest host on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. One player down, one more to go…
