The MouthSoap called it! Lil Wayne recently stepped out with his alleged fiancée, Australian plus-size model Le’Tecia Thomas to celebrate the release of his album Funeral. The album release party took place on a yacht during Super Bowl weekend in Miami, Florida.
Rumors swirled for months that rapper Lil Wayne was engaged to his girlfriend of one year. Just as recent as New Year’s Eve, Lil Wayne and Thomas were spotted spending the holiday together with other family members at the rapper’s home in Miami.
It appears he confirmed the relationship publicly on his album. On one song Tunechi raps, “I got a plus-sized model, but she my lil’ mama…”
It has almost been two years since Lil Wayne released an album with Tha Carter V.
Funeral contains a whopping 24 tracks, an unusual amount in the world of less than ten track albums filled with two minute songs.
Features include Big Sean, Lil Baby, Jay Rock, Adam Levine, 2 Chainz, Takeoff, Lil Twist, XXXTENTACION, Satan’s Kid, O.T. Genesis and The Dream.
“I Do It”, “Stop Playing With Me” and “Wild Dogs” are some of the stand out songs on the album.
