Lauren London Shows Resilience In New Puma Ad Campaign Honoring Nipsey Hussle

Lauren London and Puma have collaborated on a touching marketing campaign that features an ad honoring late rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Created by Lauren London and directed by Danny Williams, the ad shows landmark areas of the Slauson district of South Central Los Angeles.

The ATL actress stands in locations where she took photos with Nipsey for a GQ magazine feature released earlier in 2019. Throughout the commercial, the theme “Forever Strong” resonates as London does a voiceover of a poem written by Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith.

London, 35, is mother to Nipsey’s son Kross. Born Ermias Asghedom, he was gunned down in front of his Slauson store on March 31, 2019.

At the time of his death, the entrepreneur was collaborating with Puma on his The Marathon Continues collection, featuring sportswear reminiscent of LA culture.

Today, 100% of net proceeds from the collaboration go directly to the Neighborhood “Nip” Foundation.
