If you’re a comedian that can’t headline a tour, you’re not allowed to join comedic powerhouses Kevin Hart and Chris Rock on their tour Rock Hart: Only Headliners Allowed. Even the shade incites chuckles.
“When Chris and I realized we were both going to be on tour this year we immediately knew we needed to do something special,” Hart said in a statement. “We have been friends and mentors to each other for 20 years, but we have never shared a headlining stage together – until now!!!”
Rock Hart: OHA has five dates scheduled on the East coast. The tour will kick off at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on July 21. From July 22nd through July 25th, the tour will stop at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Madison Square Garden in New York, PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, and Barclays in Brooklyn.
“I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the return of live comedy than to co-headline a show with my brother Chris Rock,” Hart continued. “This is a major moment in comedy and one for the history books.”
Rock is currently prepping for his Ego Death World Tour 2022, beginning March 30 until July 22, when he merges his special with Hart’s for five days. Hart is also on his tour Kevin Hart: Reality Check, with dates in New Orleans, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and more.
Tickets go on sales March 11 on Ticketmaster.com.
