Kandi Shows Off Glutes In Happy Improv Photo Op Giving Homage To A Famous 2 Live Crew Album Cover (Yes, This Is Newsworthy)

When Cameo made that song “Candy,” they must’ve been talking about Mrs. Kandi Burruss-Tucker! The mother of three posted on Instagram what appeared to be an improv photo op on the beach.

In the photos, the singer and RHOA star wore a blue and white two-piece Louis Vuitton swimsuit. She looked striking as she posed showing off her washboard abs and toned body. A swipe left revealed the rear (literally) of the beauty in a pose that paid homage to the Miami-based hip hop group The 2 Live Crew’s album cover As Nasty As They Wanna Be, released February 7, 1989.

She captioned the photo, “OK rileyburruss DO NOT swipe left! I don’t want you to block me. Everybody else swipe at your own risk! & before y’all start @todd167 said go ahead.”

In another photo, she sat next to a message carved into the wet sand saying, “I love u Todd.” Kandi is expected to return to the 13th season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, the official premiere date has still not been revealed due to the delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

A Little Background On The 2 Live Crew’s As Nasty As They Wanna Be

The 2 Live Crew was famous for making fast-paced hip hop dance music back in the 1980s and 1990s. Led by the rap trailblazer Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell, their songs were more treacherous than Cardi B’s “WAP.”

Some of the top nasty songs to hit the scene back then included “Me So Horny,” “Dirty Nursery Rhymes,”Get Loose Now,” and “Dick Almighty.” The album was so polarizing that it went platinum multiple times, making it the first album from the South to do so at that time. It also landed the rap group in legal trouble.

A Florida judge ruled the album illegal to be distributed in certain counties of the state. In 1990, members of the group were arrested after performing some of the songs at a strip club. They were eventually acquitted of all charges after many people protested and the literary critic and scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. spoke on their behalf.
