An official trailer released by Netflix shows Emmy-nominated actress, Jurnee Smollett, and Oscar winner, Allison Janney, teaming up on the action thriller, Lou.
Written by Maggie Cohn, Lou follows a mother (Smollett) with a child living in rural regions as they brace for a raging storm. A mysterious woman next door by the name of Lou (Janney) becomes entangled in the mother’s life when the child is kidnapped by an unknown culprit. A strong opponent and nature test their will for survival, while threatening to expose their secretive pasts.

Lou releases Sept. 23 on Netflix.
