Actor JT Jackson believes that people who went hard on him when he was accused of exposing and extorting comedian actor Kevin Hart were only doing so to secure a possible future role in a Hart movie someday, according to an interview he did with Comedy Hype.
“So many people were talking crazy that you would think — and the people I know that was talking crazy — for some reason I felt like they thought that Kevin was going to give them a role in something,” Jackson said in the interview.
He also had some words for Charlamagne tha God, who gave Jackson “Donkey of the Day” when news broke about the incident two years ago, and Hart’s documentary Kevin Hart: Don’t F–k This Up that addressed the whole ordeal in the third episode.

Hart was accused of infidelity when he was filmed with a woman at a Miami club in 2017. The video went viral and after an investigation ordered by Hart, Jackson was arrested and charged with attempting extortion.
The extortion charges were eventually dropped in 2019. Jackson didn’t come out unscathed, however, losing his 15-year friendship with Hart.
To this day, Jackson still denies any involvement in an extortion scheme. “I had a career going already, so I didn’t need to extort anybody.”
