Mmadu Biosah, the brother of Houston rapper Maxo Kream, was shot and killed while in Los Angeles on the morning of Monday, March 9th. He was 27 years old.
Officers responded to a call from Biosah’s roommate after Biosah was shot in front of his apartment around 4:25 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Biosah, who also goes by Mmadu Kream, was found with a gunshot wound on the floor of an apartment at Avalon Apartments off of Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills.
Witnesses reported that Biosah was outside of his apartment when the incident happened. No arrests have been made. A homicide investigation is currently in process.
Similar to his brother, Biosah also rapped, going by his artist name Money Du. The H-Town rapper had just became a father evidenced by his recent Instagram posts.
Maxo Kream, whose real name is Emekwane Ogugua Biosah Jr., is a rapper from the Southwest Alief area of Houston, Texas. He became popular after a series of mixtapes releases, such as Retro Card and Quicc Strikes.
Maxo Kream signed with Roc Nation in June 2019 after he released #Maxo187 (2015), The Persona Tape (2016), and Punken (2018).
