Harlem Globetrotters Brings On Power Executive Sunni Hickman As Vice President Of Marketing And Sales

The Harlem Globetrotters, a Herschend Family Entertainment subsidiary, are happy to announce that they have recruited power executive Sunni Hickman as their new vice president of marketing and sales. In her new role, the Clark Atlanta University graduate will oversee live event marketing, non-gate revenue verticals and brand development.

“Sunni has successfully demonstrated her abilities with Herschend over the past six years, and her strategic approach, combined with her experience and expertise in brand building and marketing, is the perfect fit for the role,” said Globetrotter Executive Vice President and General Manager Jeff Munn.  “We welcome her leadership style and her ability of connecting people to unique experiences.”

Prior to her new role, Hickman served as the director of integrated marketing communications for three years. She also served as the vice president of marketing at The Dollywood Company, a country-themed amusement park opened by Herschend Family Entertainment and superstar singer Dolly Parton located in Tennessee.

Before joining The Dollywood Company, Hickman was the vice president of marketing at brand marketing consultancy Creaxion.

Hickman resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Jamaal and three children.
