Breaking, 8:00 AM ET: The full House of Representatives are currently in the process of voting on the articles of impeachment in the case of Donald Trump. Trump is on the verge of being the third president in American history to be impeached, after Bill Clinton and Andrew Johnson.
At the moment, the House is debating the rules of impeachment with each representative having a chance to add their two cents.
If the House opts to impeach Trump, a trial will be conducted by the Senate to decide whether the 45th president should be removed from office.
The charges against Trump include an attempt to manipulate the elections by forcing foreign interference to investigate an opposing candidate while withholding aid and blocking testimony and access to essential documents in the case.
