FnGHaze Releases Tough Tunes On New EP ‘One Hit Away II’

On a rollercoaster ride of non stop events, rapper FnGHaze followed up his round of label meetings with a project intended for the streets but sure to reverberate through major label hallways.

Haze’s episodic sequel to One Hit Away begins with a Jazz-inspired intro titled “The 1”, produced by King James. Haze meddles back and forth between rapping and singing bits, seducing the ears with an urgent but calming tune rarely done in the rap world.

Where the FnG front runner merges irresistible cadence with wavy melodies to prep listeners for a sonic voyage.

The Slauson District rapper with ties to H-Town shows his hand on the club track “B.I.O”, featuring rappers Danny and DJB. Danny captures the essence and energy of the record and throws a perfect lob to the ratchets Haze and DJB.

The third track on the EP is “Snakes Pt. 2”. Produced by Swedish native TTBeats, this track harkens to the traditional arena sound that Haze breezes over with grit energy and an undeniable and unorthodox flow.

FngHaze puts a bow on the project with “It’s Only Money”, another King James beat, where Haze hones in on a braggadocio that will make opps feel hate in their hearts.

The freestyle king is straight to the point, giving his fans four incredible listens that are nothing like what is out in the music industry today. Labels take notice.

If we could sum up the Focus & Grind project with one thought, it would be that “this is not inspired by Young Thug” and we love it.
