Angela Yee Admits To Cheating, Debbie Allen Teaches Her Man A Lesson
Angela Yee’s Lip Service is known for its fun, raunchy topics covering everything about sex and relationships. This week, singer and actress Fantasia joined Breakfast Club host Angela Yee and her friends, for a conversation on her love life and upcoming album Sketchbook.
On the podcast, Fantasia admits that she had a list for her perfect partner. “I knew I wanted a God-fearing man. I knew I wanted someone very intelligent, someone to come in and love my children as if they were his. Someone to love me and see me and not Fantasia.”
The “Free Yourself” singer said she took 7 months to get herself together, to heal and fast. During the fast, she restrained herself from drinking, dating, sexual relations and read her word and affirmations everyday. After the completion of her fast, she met her husband after only 3 weeks of dating.
“We married before we made love,” she told the ladies of Lip Service. “There were certain things that I asked God for that he brought to me through my husband. You got to be careful, make sure you got your eyes open ’cause the enemy hear your prayers too and he’ll send a curveball right your way.”
The room became really tense when Angela Yee asked Fantasia whether her husband has women in his DMs. “I’m glad you brought that up,” Fantasia responded quite seriously. “I feel like girls can be very disrespectful.”
All the women in the room silently nodded in agreement. “I feel like when you start telling somebody how good your guy is and what you got then they start being like, I want some too…They start being disrespectful and rude.”
She had a message to all the ladies vying for her man in his DMs, “You could never, ever come and take mine because I leave no room.”
Fantasia proceeded to tell the ladies about a story that Debbie Allen told her. While dating NBA player Norm Nixon, Allen found out that he was cheating on her with a white woman. Allen dyed everything blonde and told Norm, “You want a white bitch, here you go!”
Even more surprisingly, Angela Yee admitted that she cheated for a while on her ex-boyfriend. “If I cheat, I know that it’s over already,” Angela Yee admitted. “Sometimes, we don’t break up right away…I’ll act like I’m not in a relationship anymore when I know I’m about to end it. Sometimes, you don’t end things when you’re supposed to.”
The episode ended on an inspiring note with Angela Yee telling Fantasia how her story has positively impacted people. Fantasia has been able to recover from a bad relationship, a dark period of depression and a medication overdose. Now, she is happily married with a new album out.
