Well, there’s some good news to look forward to today. Not only is it Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday, but two of the most creative music artists in the game dropped what many fans deem a dream album collaboration titled Slime&B. Two words. It’s fire. Everything a fan of slime and R&B could hope for.
It’s not a question that both Young Thug and Chris Brown are just naturally gifted to make some of the best songs ever. Yet, these masters of their craft tend to still be underrated, though they’ve both reached the upper echelons of legendary in the music industry.
On Slime&B, the Atlanta rapper and Virgina-born singer prove that they are the wave. Young Thug gives us his signature eclectic, but grimy (or slimy) spit game, while Brown swoons with his angelically seductive singing. We need a concert, for real.
While this album is definitely on the MouthSoap Playlist, some of our faves are “She Bumped Her Head”, “Go Crazy”, “Say You Love Me”, “Big Slime” and “Help Me Breathe”, which features Future but doesn’t appear to be available on Apple iTunes at the moment.
