Drake Boo’d Off Stage At Camp Flog Gnaw, Audience Expected Frank Ocean

It seems like everyone is not into the big, mainstream hip hop names. This was especially true for attendees at Camp Flog Gnaw that took place at LA’s Dodger Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Drake showed up at Tyler, The Creator’s festival as a surprise guest to the dismay of the audience who were hoping that cult music legend Frank Ocean would be the surprise special guest.

What proceeded to happen next has been unheard of at a Drake performance. People in the crowd began to boo the megastar to the point where he had to cut his set short.

The experience was quite humbling for the singer/rapper. “Like I said, I’m here for you tonight. If you want to keep going, I will keep going,” Drake said while people booed and responded with no’s.

“It’s been love. I love y’all. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you for having me,” he continued before he left the stage shaking his head. Drake was only able to get out nine songs before the harsh reaction sent him packing.

Fans thought that Frank Ocean would choose the festival as an opportunity to showcase his latest music. They confirmed this when they began to chant, “We want Frank.”
