DJ D-Nice is making the best out of the whole coronavirus lockdown situation.
Since Wednesday, he’s been throwing Instagram Live parties called #ClubQuarantine where he spins music on Instagram Live.
The virtual shindig drew more than 100k people on Saturday when some of the biggest public personalities and celebrities joined DJ D-Nice on livestream.
So, who slid through the party? Oh, no one but Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Missy Elliott, Mark Zuckerberg, Michelle Obama, Drake, Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Ava DuVernay and presidential hopeful Joe Biden.
After the spectacular event, the Bronx DJ was able to accumulate 600,000 Instagram followers and set the trend for other DJs to follow.
“I never would’ve imagined that the best party I would create and DJ would be from the comfort of my own home,” said DJ D-Nice. “Homeschool is a thing! Yesterday was absolutely insane. The amount of artists and friends that virtually partied with me far exceeded my expectations. I’m feeling nothing but gratitude.”
The experience received great reviews from its famous attendees, as well. “#ClubQuarantine the best thing popping!!!! Real music flex with @dnice on ig! Erbody at this party,” said Missy Elliott.
“Incredible. Thank you for tonight’s party, @djdnice. Truly epic. You brought so many together while #SafeAtHome. Bravo!,” added Ava DuVernay.
