Did Kehlani Breakup With YG? New Song Suggests There Was Infidelity…Again!

Just a few days after Valentine’s Day, Kehlani posted a cryptic message on her IG that suggested that she is no longer with rapper YG.

A video shows the beautiful, but somber singer recording her new song “Valentine’s Day (Shameful)” and it appears to reveal an incident in which she found out YG was up to no good when she checked his text messages.

The song starts off, “I always land on my feet. Bounce back again, clean and neat. Wish I didn’t check your text when you was drunk.”

The admission comes at a time when the two had just celebrated the romantic holiday together by releasing their new collaborative single “Konclusions”.

Kehlani posted, “Last night making “Valentine’s Day (Shameful)”…same room/same people I made “You Know Wassup” with. Same energy…feel something and get it off. 3 therapeutic hours. Appreciating those who see and hear me, and those around me holding me up. Real grateful for expression right now. Inward & onward, love always ALL ways.”

Many fans went onto the post to share their sentiments, with Tashonnaaa saying, “It’s okay, I never liked YG anyways. You way out his league my good sis.”

Tory Lanez responded, “The realist.”

DJ Duffey offered her support, “We appreciate ur honesty in the music! Been there.”

Halsey was really feeling Kehlani’s pain, “Your positivity, your light and your kindness will never be dulled by someone else’s darkness. Maybe for a moment. But you persevere. You are the realest of the real mama.”

The on again, off again relationship has been chaotic. A video of YG cozying up to another woman went viral causing the couple to breakup. Kehlani and YG would get back together, but the reunion would be short-lived.

Hopefully, Kehlani will bounce back even bigger and things will be all well with her. Besides, success is the best revenge, sis!
