D.L. Hughley Recovers From Scary Incident After Collapsing On Stage During Nashville Show [Updated]

D.L. Hughley scared fans when he collapsed during a stand up performance at Zanies in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday.

A representative for the comedian said that Hughley had to stay in the hospital overnight due to exhaustion but is now recovering and doing well.

The D.L. Hughley Uncut star was in the middle of a set onstage at a nightclub when he suddenly showed signs of fainting. From the side of the stage, his manager saw Hughley slump down as he sat on a stool and rushed to his aide before the comedian fell to the floor.

Hughley is a comedian and actor who is very vocal about issues pertaining to the black community and politics. He has his own YouTube speaking series and often appears on DJ Vlad’s Vlad TV.

Just three days ago, a Vlad TV interview posted showing the comedian saying that he had lost 70% of his income because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to Hughley’s manager confirming that he’s doing well, Vlad also tweeted that he spoke to him. “Hughley is ok,” Vlad tweeted. “I just spoke to him.”
