It’s that time of year again for fans of the comic book, anime and super hero worlds. Comic-Con just announced that registration will open for Comic-Con International 2020 on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Thousands of eager fans will be sitting at their computers waiting to register for the highly demanded badges that will become available at 9 AM (PST).
People who want to attend Comic-Con must sign up for a Comic-Con Member ID before the Nov. 4th deadline in order to qualify to even buy the badges.
Once an account has been created, eligible attendees still have to go through a competitive process called the Expo Logic waiting room in which fans are randomly selected to purchase a badge. The selected attendees can also buy badges for eligible friends and family that also have Member IDs. Important updates will be announced via social media and the Comic-Con blog.
Started in the early 1970s, Comic-Con is a celebration of cosplay, comic books, popular arts, films, science fiction and fantasy literature. The event has taken place at the San Diego Convention Center for the last two decades.
