Chris Stokes And Marques Houston’s Thriller ‘Always And Forever’ Drops On UMC

The Urban Movie Channel, known as UMC, premieres the thriller Always And Forever on its subscription based platform this Friday, Nov. 20.

Written by scribe duo Chris Stokes, who also directs, and singer Marques Houston, Always And Forever is about a group of friends who have a childhood bond based on a dark secret that comes back to haunt them as adults.

Phaedra Harris Casting brought on a great cast, starring Lauren London (Baggage Claim), Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Power), Loretta Devine (Spell), Wood Harris (Empire), Rocsi Diaz (Armed), and Robbie Jones (Shaft).

Marques Houston, formerly a member of music group Immature and best known for his role as Roger on 1990s sitcom Sister Sister, has 12 scripts under his belt.

He wrote his first screenplay, Battlefield America, in 2012 alongside Chris Stokes. Since then, he’s collaborated with Chris Stokes on nine productions, including Will To Love, A Weekend With The Family, Boy Bye, Til Death Do Us Part, We Belong Together, Running Out Of Time, Fall Girls, Swag Inc., and Trigger.

A collaboration between Footage Films and Novus Content, the film is produced by Shondrella Avery, Jarell Houston, Marques Houston, and Jerome Jones and executive produced by Patrick Johnson Sr., Patrick Johnson Jr., and Robert A. Johnson.
