Chris “Ludacris” Bridges Stars Alongside Shane Graham In Inspiring BMX Film

An official trailer was released for the Alex Ranarivelo directed film The Ride. In the trailer, a troubled boy grows up inside of a juvenile detention center when he is chosen by an interracial couple for possible adoption.

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (P-Valley) plays Eldridge Buultjens, the foster dad who takes a chance on raising the problematic teen, John, played by Shane Graham (Girl on the Edge). Sasha Alexander (Rizzoli & Isles) stars alongside Ludacris as the supportive foster mother.

Penned by Alex Ranarivelo and new scribe Hadeel Reda and based on a true story, John attempts to adapt to suburban life with his interracial foster parents while coming to terms with his traumatic past. At the behest of Eldridge, he picks up the hobby of BMX bike riding.

Ali Afshar, Daniel Carrey, Hadeel Reda, Ava Rettke, and John Schouweiler join as producers, with Forrest Lucas as executive producer.

The ESX Entertainment and Roadside Attractions film will stream on Amazon Prime starting on Nov. 13.
