The family of veteran Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron is asking for prayers as the Voice of Atlanta recovers from an emergency surgery for an unspecified condition, as confirmed by his family on Twitter.
“On behalf of the family of Ryan Cameron, we are asking for your fervent prayers as he recovers from emergency surgery that took place earlier this week,” said a statement by the family. “We ask for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your love and concern.”
Many are speculating that the motivational speaker is reportedly in intensive care after having a heart attack, but this information has not been confirmed.
With a career that spans over three decades, Cameron was the first morning show host on Hot 107.9 and later worked at V-103. The two-time Emmy Award winner currently has a show on radio station MAJIC 107.5/97.5 called Ryan Cameron Uncensored.
The Georgia Hall of Famer is also known as the voice of the Atlanta Hawks. He is the father of four children.
