Adam Sandler And Queen Latifah Star In Netflix Sports Drama ‘Hustle,’ Produced By LeBron James And Maverick Carter [Trailer]

Adam Sandler plays Stanley “Sugerman” Beren in the Netflix sports drama Hustle. The inspiring story written by Will Fetters and Taylor Materne follows the washed-up basketball scout as he attempts to make his way back into the NBA by investing in an extraordinarily tall, once-in-a-lifetime street ball player from Spain.

Jeremiah Zagar, best known for directing documentaries, directs the film full of cameo surprises. Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Robert Duvall, Jaleel White of Family Matters fame, Seth Curry, and Doc Rivers, are among the stellar casting bill. Last year, photos leaked showing a slew of celebrities participating in a shoot taking place in Philadelphia.

Mark Cuban, Billy King, Maurice Cheeks, and Fat Joe, were on the set during what appeared to be a scene of a funeral gathering.

Adam Sandler executive produces alongside Spencer Beighley, Barry Bernardi, Jamal Henderson, and Jon Silk. LeBron James and his longtime business partner, Maverick Carter, are onboard as producers.

Hustle releases June 8 on Netflix. Watch the trailer below:
