Sizzling new show A House Divided scored a second season on streaming service The Urban Movie Channel. UMC also signed on LisaRaye McCoy and Parker McKenna Posey for recurring roles in the upcoming season.
The show will return in spring 2020, starring Brad James (For Better Or Worse), Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs (Rel), Demetria McKinney (House of Payne) and Paula Jai Parker (Friday).
A House Divided is about an influential family in Los Angeles that loses its matriarch under suspicious circumstances and the patriarch falls under investigation for money laundering. The family strives to uphold the family name while dealing with their own personal demons.
The show debuted in July and quickly became the highest rated original series on the streaming service.
