Master P And No Limit Records Get Just Due On New Docuseries ‘No Limit Chronicles’

The life of the legendary Master P and his No Limit Records are the topic of conversation with the release of BET Network’s docuseries No Limit Chronicles. In five episodes, the series will delve into the New Orleans bred rapper’s past as he broke out stars, such as Mia X, Mystikal, Silk The Shocker, C Murder, Romeo Miller and more.

Born Percy Miller coming up in the Calliope Projects, the No Limit Records founder got his start in the music industry by selling music CDs out of the trunk of his car.

Miller was inspired by his grandfather, who was a reliable patriarch for the family. He learned about work ethic from his grandfather, Claude Miller. After his grandfather passed away due to a hospital’s malpractice, Miller decided it was his responsibility to take care of his whole family.

He set his goals on accomplishing this by going pro in basketball. Miller would land at the University of Houston playing ball until he was injured and sent back home. From there, the rap star would have to overcome the trappings of the hood to become the big time music executive he is today.
