Things are not looking too bright for Vice President hopeful Amy Klobuchar. The U.S. Senator from Minnesota is under fire for her time served as Hennepin County attorney in which she failed to prosecute police officers with several complaints in their files under her reign in the position.
As the election year roars on with some of the biggest challenges the U.S. has faced in some time, the residents in Minnesota are enraged by the recent news of yet another unarmed black man being killed by a policeman.
Terminated Minnesota officer Derick Chauvin had over 10 complaints in his file that he was never officially disciplined for when Klobuchar was the county’s attorney. Now, Chauvin is the latest police officer to abuse his authority and use excessive force by placing his knee into the neck of an unarmed George Floyd, which resulted in his tragic death.
Chauvin’s 19-year career was plagued with complaints of foul and strong language and at least two shootings that injured one man and killed another. Yet, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s possible VP choice failed to charge “more than two dozen cases in which people were killed in encounters with police”, but prosecuted offenses that were relatively light in comparison. In her role, Klobuchar was responsible for all criminal prosecution in the county.
Now, it would be a disservice to not bring up the fact that deflectors of the Democratic party are politicizing the plight and struggle of the black American as a way to manipulate the upcoming elections. Just rationale and common sense would beg the question on why the year 2020 has been filled with so much bullsh*t.
Coronavirus was used as a sh*t slinging contest as people criticized Donald Trump for his lethargic response to the pandemic. Then, it just so happens that there is a surge of racial incidents occurring around the nation, but the one that would hit the nail on the head happened to be in Minnesota, where “star Democrat” Klobuchar is now under scrutiny for her six degrees of separation connection to Floyd’s death. Perhaps, if she would’ve prosecuted Chauvin sooner, Floyd would be alive today.
On the flip side, this could be another ploy to make the Democratic party look weak and persuade people to vote for Trump. Or, it simply could just be a coincidence. But, in this faulty nation, nothing is a coincidence.
