The Rolling Loud festival that was supposed to take place in Miami on May 8-10 is now scheduled for February 2021, according to festival officials.
The festival, which was going to be held at Hard Rock Stadium, had to be pushed back due to COVID-19 concerns.
Rolling Loud released the following statement:
“It was important for us to not make the decision too soon, without having all the facts. We wanted nothing more than to turn up with you all at the 6th year of our sold out show. However, as the spread of COVID-19 increased to tragic levels, it became clear that we cannot proceed with the May 8-10 dates. To make sure that fans get the same experience that they signed up for in May, we’ve worked extremely hard with all of the artists, vendors, city and county officials, and the venue to make that happen.”
Rolling Loud Miami had a powerful lineup that included headliners A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Post Malone.
Other acts in the three-day lineup include the MouthSoap favorites Playboi Carti, Trippie Redd, Robb Bank$, Young Thug, Chief Keef, Lil Uzi Vert, Danileigh, Ski Mask the Slump God and more.
The 2020 tickets will be honored for admittance to the 2021 festival. However, purchasers who want a refund can expect an email in the following weeks or can inquire on the Rolling Loud website.
The next leg of the world touring music event, Rolling Loud Portugal, is dated for July 8-10, 2020. As of yet, there is no word whether this festival will be canceled, as well.
Rolling Loud Miami is scheduled for February 12-14, 2021.
