Actress Taraji P. Henson announced that she will have to postpone her wedding to her fiancé Kelvin Hayden due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The couple had initially planned to marry in April, but then had to push their plans back to June due to scheduling conflicts. However, the coronavirus is now causing them to aim for July to exchange nuptials.
“It’s probably going to be more like July. We have to see what this will be like at the other end,” said the future bride-to-be on Extra. “Our grandparents, my grandmother is about to turn 96, his is 86, how do we get them to the wedding now? Now, we are concerned, just trying to figure out the safest and best way.”
Henson, 49, and Hayden, 36, revealed that they were engaged in May 2018. Hayden, who played in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears, proposed to Henson after an alleged two and a half years of dating.
