There was a time when Ciara was disappointed by what she thought was love.
Everyone has experienced that moment when you have to kiss a frog to get to the prince or princess, but it’s even harder when you have to do that in front of an audience, whether it’s your family or the world.
Well, during Ciara’s darkest period she bowed on her knees and said a prayer describing her ideal man.
Just 10 months after her son Future was born she met the man of her dreams in Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
At her appearance on talk show RuPaul early in 2019 she explains how she received beauty for her ashes when she learned to love herself and evaluate her past to avoid making the same mistakes.
Wilson, too, was just recovering from a divorce when he found his future wife in Ciara. Stepping up to the plate, Wilson not only treated Ciara with love and care, but he also extended that love to her son. Later, they would go on to get married and have a child together.
