DJ ESCO And Freebandz Artist Doe Boy Drop Surprise 9-Track EP ’56 Birdz’

Future announced a surprise drop of the collaborative music project 56 Birdz direct from DJ ESCO and Freebandz signed artist Doe Boy. The Freebandz supported and Epic Records distributed EP features nine tracks that accounts for about 25 minutes.

On Doe Boy’s follow up to his 2019 album Streetz Need Me 2, fans will hear the signature “Oh Really” throughout the EP.

Future’s voice is featured as a drop for DJ ESCO, but that is the most fans will hear from the Atlanta rapper. The EP doesn’t contain any features at all.

On “Broken Promises”, a mellow Doe Boy talks about being callous towards love and relationships, while having trust issues. “Share My” is another low-key love song about sharing women and flexing on dudes.

Standout track “You Tried It” is a melodic, riding song about haters who try to test Doe Boy. Hard-hitting, bass-filled “Whatchutalmbout” was made for the S.L.A.B. Confrontational and direct, Doe Boy spits about the epic demise of his enemies.

Other songs on the track-list include “Pop It”, “Bankroll”, “Primetime” and “Him 4Real”.

DJ ESCO, born William Moore, is a longtime collaborator with Future since 2008. He executive produced Future’s album Hndrxx and produces for Freebandz artists. In addition, Future’s 56 Nights, a likely prequel for 56 Birdz, was named after DJ ESCO’s time in prison for a marijuana charge in the U.A.E.
