Authorities Confirm Pop Smoke’s Murder Was A Planned Hit, LAPD Says Someone From East Coast Made 911 Call

Police authorities confirmed that surveillance footage proved that the murder of Pop Smoke was a planned hit.

Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was tragically shot and killed in what was being deemed a home invasion or robbery by many major media sources.

The assumption didn’t add up to fans, however, as people pointed out that nothing was actually stolen out of the Hollywood Hills home where Pop Smoke was residing at the time. The footage shows the intruders running on foot with nothing in tow.

In addition, the four masked men that broke into the home did not target anyone else but Pop Smoke. Multiple shots rang out, further confirming that the shooting appeared to be an act of vengeance.

Some fans argued that burglars usually take what they want and leave, they normally don’t do a burglary with the mindset of killing someone unless there is some interference.

One odd fact about this entire case is that the LAPD said that the 911 call actually came from someone on the East coast. Whoever was in the house with Pop Smoke at the time of the shooting called someone on the East before they called for an ambulance or police.

“I can tell you that at 4:55 this morning multiple LAPD Hollywood units responded to a call at 203 Hercules Drive in the Hollywood Hills. The radio call was called in by someone from back East and stated a friend of their’s home was being broken into by multiple suspects and that one of them was armed with a handgun.”

A candlelight vigil was held for the rapper in Brooklyn. Hundreds of fans showed up and celebrated his life, singing his songs and dancing in the streets.

Several rappers have come out and commented on Pop Smoke’s unfortunate demise.

Rapper NAV mourned the death of his music peer. He said that he was supposed to have a studio session with Pop Smoke at 5 PM on Feb. 19, the day he passed away.

DaBaby had just shared a stage with Pop Smoke at a Hampton, Virginia show.

“It’s unfortunate. I’m glad I got the chance to share the stage with him in Hampton, Virginia last week,” he said in a video on social media. “I was super proud of him and super happy for him to see his progression….You got to move smooth.”
