Jada Pinkett and Will Smith’s Westbook Inc. has found a new sponsor for their World Tour in Australia’s first fully integrated renewable energy company AgBioEn.
World Tour will be sponsored by the green company for five years, totaling a $200 million investment to be cyphered into several themes within the tour in an effort to encourage environmentally conscious innovations and increase awareness.
The Smith’s World Tour, which is also co-produced by Apollo World Touring, will showcase performances by several artists, live events and experimental content creations.
“Our intention with World Tour was always more than just creating amazing live events. We are building a connected global platform to inspire meaningful change through content, stories, and experiences,” said Westbrook Inc.’s Jesse Uram in a statement. “With Charles and this incredible partnership with AgBioEn, we are laying the foundations of a long term, sustained mechanism for building better futures through impactful pop culture.”
World Tour’s first stop is in Melbourne, Australia with superstar singer Robbie Williams taking the stage on March 14. The event will also make stops in Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada and the United States. Other artists that will be performing have not been announced yet.
Not only will the World Tour entertain, but it will also provide a platform for fans to have an interactive role via content formats.
“From the inception of World Tour, we’ve been excited with its potential as a global franchise to bring mind-blowing experiences and unparalleled access to fans and creators worldwide,” said President of Westbrook Inc. Tera Hanks. “We’re gathering some of the biggest names in music to celebrate cities around the world and the amazing creativity found there. We can’t wait for everyone to join us on the World Tour.”
The intention of the World Tour is to inspire companies and consumers to discover more sustainable ways to develop and maintain climate-friendly practices on a global scale.
“We want to shine a light on the powerful innovations that can deliver huge benefits, both socially and environmentally, as we transition to a climate friendly future,” said the Chairman of AgBioEn Charles Hunting. “This partnership will help us build momentum around the deployment of these technologies, which is an urgent priority if the global economy is to get on track for a net carbon zero future.”
He continued, “This is the power of entertainment coming together with the power of innovation to help transform the world.”
AgBioEn partners with organizations to assist with reducing the amount of carbon produced and enhance the sustainability efforts of the company.
