Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is always a fun treat to watch on the show. Since she joined the Bravo franchise in its 5th season in 2012, we have seen a people-pleasing, conservative housewife become a strongly confident and assertive woman.
For the last eight years, Porsha, 38, has grown on us and become a staple of the RHOA, now in its 12th season. We’ve seen Porsha divorce her first husband, Kordell Stewart, and bounce back with a banging body and new career aspirations.
Fast forward to 2019, Porsha is a major voice on the pop culture daily show Dish Nation and is rumored to have a net worth of $5 million. A far cry from being a wife dependent on her former husband’s income.
Last year was a milestone for Porsha as she started a new family with her lovey bubby and fiancé Dennis McKinley, 43. The Atlanta couple welcomed their first child together, Pilar Jhena, on March 22, 2019.
During her pregnancy, rumors swirled of McKinley’s infidelity causing a rift in the relationship. It was uncertain if the couple could work it out. Back in November, Porsha did confirm to Bravo that the two were engaged before the new season of RHOA premiered on Nov. 3. But, fans were uncertain if Porsha would become the future Mrs. McKinley for sure.
On the 12th season, we caught a glimpse of Porsha’s recovery from the betrayal as she went to counseling with McKinley. The most recent episode shows McKinley surprising Porsha while she is on a trip with the RHOA ladies in Toronto. Bravo showed cuts of McKinley bowing on bended knee to propose.
Well, Porsha’s Instagram page completely solidified the couple’s status. Her page shows a post made on Jan. 6 with Porsha sitting on McKinley’s lap and giving him a full blown kiss on a surprise trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
If there was any question whether the couple is together or not, this definitely answers it. Meanwhile, the new year brings rumors of Porsha officially becoming a McKinley, secretly marrying in Mexico on New Year’s Day.
“We’re happy and we’re raising our daughter together,” Porsha told US Weekly. “It’s been a long road, one we’re still on. We’re going day by day rebuilding our relationship and making sure our foundation is where we want it to be to have a strong family.”
It’s nice to see Porsha find love again and build her own family. The youthful and comedic moments she brings to The Real Housewives of Atlanta is part of the reason why so many fans tune in every week.
