Empire actress Gabourey Sidibe has found love in actor boyfriend Brandon Frankel, who went on Instagram to proclaim his adoration for the star.
“I’m truly thankful for my close family, friends, associates past and present…and most of all, for THIS Queen right here,” Frankel posted. “You’re a ball of sunshine, so generous and giving of your time, resources, and love- and your excitement and passion for life and people/things you love truly lights up my heart.”
The posts included several photos of the couple in matching shirts and grinning proudly beside each other.
For the most part, Sidibe has maintained a very private personal life, only giving fans a glimpse occasionally. But in a surprise move, the couple went public back in May 2019 via an Instagram post.
Photos on Frankel’s page show a timeline of the eight month relationship, with the two going on trips, wining and dining, and sharing moments at home.
Frankel’s heartwarming 2019 tribute to Sidibe, 36, reveals the connection between the lovebirds.
“You’ve taught me so much about life, myself, and the world that is truly invaluable,” Frankel wrote. “You make me push myself to be a better me, even though you probably don’t even realize you are. I love you more and more every single day…”
