The former boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, Nick Gordon, has passed away from an alleged drug overdose. He was 30 years old.
News of Gordon’s death spread on social media via his brother Jack Walker Jr., according to TMZ.
Gordon died on Wednesday (Dec. 31) after being admitted to a Florida hospital for a suspected drug overdose.
“We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother,” Walker Jr. said in a statement. “He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one.”
Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of music sensations Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, died five years ago on July 26, 2015 after being in an induced coma for six months.
She was found unresponsive in her bathtub at her Atlanta home on January 31, 2015. Her tooth was knocked out and she had bruises on her body at the time that she was discovered by friend and alleged drug dealer Max Lomas.
Years later, Lomas was found unresponsive on the floor at a friend’s house and later died of a drug overdose in 2018.
Gordon was suspected of attacking Bobbi Kristina and ultimately causing her death. He was found guilty of her death in 2016 and ordered by the courts to pay Bobbi Kristina’s family.
Bobbi’s mother, Whitney Houston, died on February 12, 2012 after drowning in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub. While her autopsy revealed she had a small amount of drugs in her system, many sources inaccurately reported that she died of a drug overdose.
