In celebration of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour coming to Toronto for a two-day residency, the fashion house Holt Renfrew is hosting the first-ever North American Renaissance Flagship, an immersive exhibition displaying the multi-platinum singer’s iconic looks, along with exclusive fan memorabilia.
The exhibition and retail concept will be on display for one week starting July 5 through July 11 at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street. Holt Renfrew has drastically renovated the entire third floor of the retail location for the exclusive experience.
“From music to fashion to art and beyond, The Renaissance World Tour continues to break records and leave its mark around the globe,” the Holt Renfrew website reads. “The Renaissance Flagship has landed in Toronto. In celebration—and anticipation—of Beyoncé’s two-night Renaissance World Tour residency at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, experience an immersive exhibition and retail concept.”
The exhibition will feature the North American debut of Beyoncé x Balmain, the couture collection from Beyoncé’s collaboration with Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain. Beyoncé x Balmain was first announced in March 2023 via French Vogue. The union would become the first time a Black woman and Black man spearheaded a collection with the historic Parisian fashion house.
Attendees will also be able to view a 21-piece memorabilia edit, along with an exclusive series of We Shut This City Down tees paying homage to the music icon. An 80-page self-published Renaissance World Tour art book, along with a silver Renaissance cowboy hat, hoodie with oversized “B” detailing, and short and long sleeve tees containing exclusive imagery will also be on display in the store.
An online shopping experience will be available for those who are not able to visit the flagship in person. Prices for the purchasable fashion pieces range from $325 for tees to $600 for oversized hoodies.
As far as tour merchandise, Beyoncé has already broken the record for the highest merchandise sales during a worldwide tour, according to her tour partner Amazon. The exclusive and official tour merchandise is now available on Beyoncé’s website.
Beyoncé kicks off the North American leg of the Renaissance World Tour at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario on July 8-9. The “ALIEN SUPERSTAR” singer recently canceled an upcoming tour stop in Pittsburgh due to a scheduling conflict.
“Due to production logistics and scheduling issues, unfortunately the August 3rd Pittsburgh stop of the Renaissance World Tour will not be taking place,” a statement on Twitter reads. “Refunds will automatically be issued at point of purchase.”
