In unique big energy fashion, Toya Johnson, 38, gave fans an exclusive look at her one-of-a-kind wedding ceremony in a video published on YouTube over the weekend. On Oct. 15, the very youthful bride married her prince charming of six years, Robert “Red” Rushing, 41, on the beautiful coast of Cabo San Lucas, in the Mexican State of Baja California Sur.
Some celebrity sightings included rapper Clifford “T.I.” Harris, singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris, rapper and reality star Rasheeda Buckner-Frost, singer Monica Arnold, and of course, Toya’s daughter with Lil Wayne, Reginae Carter.
Faith Evans sung her hit 1999 song, Never Gonna Let You Go, as Johnson walked down the aisle in an intricately detailed floor-length gown made of feathered pearl and bead designs. Her look was matched by Rushing, who wore a white paisley floral tuxedo complete with a black bow tie.
The gorgeous wedding ceremony took place on an elevated, svelte walkway facing the ocean. White-flower arrangements garnished a mirror doorway in which the wedding officiant stood before a generous audience, including onlookers who appeared to be tourists watching over a beam.
