HALO, the epic video game that has occupied Xboxs for the last two decades, is receiving a television series treatment on the striving platform Paramount+.
“Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo The Series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future,” reads a statement from Paramount+.
The series stars Pablo Schreiber as the Master Chief, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Halsey, Jen Taylor as Cortana, Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, and Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes.
This will not be the first time that an adaptation of the video game has been created. There have been a number of shorts, including Halo: Landfall (2007) and Halo: The Rebellion (2018), and several TV miniseries, such as Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn (2012) starring Thom Green and Anna Popplewell, Halo: Nightfall (2014) starring Mike Colter and Steven Waddington, and the animated miniseries Halo: The Fall of Reach (2015).
HALO The Series will be available exclusively March 24 on Paramount+. Check out the trailer below:
